Another weekend with the girls flashes by in the blink of an eye. It scares me how quickly they go and how slowly the time goes until the next time I get to see my two angels.
The lasting memories from this weekend will be the walk back from the woods yesterday in the rain: Alice, Elisa, Asri and Eleni all finding the biggest puddles to jump in. It was a good job I had a change of clothes for the girls as they were absolutely soaked through…but they loved every second of it!
Splashing in puddles.
Waves engulfing boots and socks.
Innocence of youth.
It was so much fun! The girls were still talking about it when they went to bed and told Daddy all about it on the phone! :0) The amount of water in Alice’s boots was hilarious.
I know you miss them, honey. But I will do my best to keep you smiling and make the time fly by! x
Glad to hear your two had just as much fun and that daddy was told all about it. Like I said yesterday, these will be memories for them associated with you and me.
And yes, the amount of water that came out of Alice’s boots – and socks – was hilarious! I can still see the massive smile on her face – definitely something that wouldn’t have been allowed with mummy that’s for sure.
Fortunately I get to see the girls a bit more over the coming week, but that does unfortunately mean I have the dreaded M25 to deal with on multiple occasions again 🙁
