The challenge I’ve set myself for this year seems to be all-encompassing. I live, eat and breathe thinking about the next run, the next walk, the next bike ride.

It’s keeping my mind focused on the positive, avoiding as best I can the negative and bad thoughts that creep in from time to time.

I’m doing well. I’m getting fitter. I’m getting stronger. Although, I can be over critical and too hard on myself when I don’t do as well as I wanted, but that’s just me.

Physical challenges aren’t for everyone but we all need something to push ourselves, something to challenge us to do better, to exceed what we thought was possible.

What are you doing to push yourself out of the comfort zone and into the unknown?
