Reading Time: 2 minutes

Week 12: not a bad week’s training at all, even if I do say so myself. It started a little slow but I managed to chalk up a reasonable amount of miles as the week progressed, even with my 40th Birthday rearing it’s ugly head!

After completing a quarter of my running miles last week I managed to chalk up a quarter of my walking miles this week, helped by a great weekend with my girls mostly spent out and about outside enjoying the great weather these last couple of days.

I know this challenge is lasting all year but it really would be appreciated if you could find a few spare pounds to sponsor me to help some very worthy charities. You can sponsor me over on my fundraising page at http://www.virginmoneygiving.com/AnotherBadIdea. Thanks.

The page will be live throughout my challenge this year (and a couple of months after) so please, when you can, give a few pounds to help some very worthy charities.

Why not do like my good mate Stu’s doing? He’s sponsoring me 2p a mile – which is amazingly generous, thanks Stu! You don’t have to pledge that much; 1p, 1/2p, 1/10p…it’ll all add up considering I’ll be covering at least 4012 miles this year!

Thanks. It means a lot and is very much appreciated.
