Week 52, and a bit: even though I hit all my targets before Christmas I thought I’d better put the final totals so that the year’s challenge was fully documented. They’re not a great deal different than last week, which isn’t surprising considering it was Christmas, but there are a few more walking miles to add to the final tally.
It’s been a mad challenge, one that pushed me to the limit a couple of times over the course of the year, but I’m pleased that I managed to dig deep and get it all done.
Once again I’ve proved to myself that I’m a little tougher than I put pay to and I’ve certainly benefited from a new overall level of fitness, losing 11 lbs and inches off my waist.
My sponsorship total currently stands at £440.00 (£533.75 including gift aid) which is good, but not great considering what I’ve done. What can you do though? If you haven’t sponsored me and would still like to do so then my fundraising page will be live for another couple of months.
I won’t be doing any more sponsored events over the coming year so there won’t be any more calls for your cash. So please, if you have a spare few quid, every little bit helps for four great charities.

Sponsor Me Please!
Don’t forget, you can get to my fundraising page at the following location:
The page will be live throughout my challenge this year (and a couple of months after) so please, when you can, give a few pounds to help some very worthy charities.
Why not do like my good mate Stu’s doing? He’s sponsoring me 2p a mile – which is amazingly generous, thanks Stu! You don’t have to pledge that much; 1p, 1/2p, 1/10p…it’ll all add up considering I’ll be covering at least 4012 miles this year!
Thanks. It means a lot and is very much appreciated.
