Week 17: the week started off slowly but soon picked up pace. The weather’s not helped with the running, especially on the nights I see Shelli, or walking at lunch time when I’m at work.
Most of the miles for this week were made up over the weekend where I cycled 20 miles on Friday, walked 20 miles on Saturday, and then ran 20 miles on Sunday. A big effort and a great way to finish off the week, even if my feet are a little on the sore side. My legs took it extremely well I’m glad to say.
I’m getting close to hitting the halfway mark on both my walking miles and my cycling miles, which is great. As I suspected, the running miles are the hardest to get ticked off but I’ll do it don’t you worry about that.
I’ve also only got another 277 miles to go until I can tick off my first target for the year: 2012 miles in 2012. This was always going to be hit well before the end of the year with the other targets I’ve set myself but it’ll be good to get this one ticked off before I get halfway through the year that’s for sure.
Here are the scores on the doors for this week:

Sponsor Me Please!
Don’t forget, you can get to my fundraising page at the following location:
The page will be live throughout my challenge this year (and a couple of months after) so please, when you can, give a few pounds to help some very worthy charities.
Why not do like my good mate Stu’s doing? He’s sponsoring me 2p a mile – which is amazingly generous, thanks Stu! You don’t have to pledge that much; 1p, 1/2p, 1/10p…it’ll all add up considering I’ll be covering at least 4012 miles this year!
Thanks. It means a lot and is very much appreciated.
