Week 20: a great week this week, although not a lot of running completed this week due to taking it easy on my left knee after the walk along the Thames Path last weekend. That being said, I kept the miles accumulating on the exercise bike this week as it’s a lot easier on my knees compared to running.
And so why so great? That would be because I’ve managed to tick off the first of my targets for the year: 2012 miles in 2012, finishing the week 2015.20 miles completed since the beginning of the year. Bloody happy about that I can tell you.
Still, there’s a long way to go yet before the end of the year with three more targets – and just under 2000 miles – left to go. A long way I’m sure you’ll agree but I’m a few weeks ahead of schedule at the moment so I’m quietly confident I’ll tick off all my targets in good time.
Here are the scores on the doors for this week:

Don’t forget, you can get to my fundraising page at the following location:
The page will be live throughout my challenge this year (and a couple of months after) so please, when you can, give a few pounds to help some very worthy charities.
Why not do like my good mate Stu’s doing? He’s sponsoring me 2p a mile – which is amazingly generous, thanks Stu! You don’t have to pledge that much; 1p, 1/2p, 1/10p…it’ll all add up considering I’ll be covering at least 4012 miles this year!
Thanks. It means a lot and is very much appreciated.
