Week 26: before I get into how the week went I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who sponsored me after last weekend’s Longest Day Run. It really is very much appreciated and certainly makes the miles just that little bit easier to bear. Thanks.
After my Longest Day Run last weekend week 26 of my challenge started slowly. My legs weren’t too bad but I (or should I say Shelli?) thought taking a bit of a rest after running all those miles would be a good thing.
That said, it wasn’t too bad a week overall and I managed to get a few miles walking in over the weekend with the girls.
Alice asked both days how far I’d walked on my pedometer, knowing that she’d probably walked something similar. She was happy to know that we’d walked 9 miles on Saturday and almost 9 miles again on Sunday. I think she’s keen to go on a proper walk some time but I’m not sure how Elisa would do. I guess there’s only one way to find out eh?

Don’t forget, you can get to my fundraising page at the following location:
The page will be live throughout my challenge this year (and a couple of months after) so please, when you can, give a few pounds to help some very worthy charities.
Why not do like my good mate Stu’s doing? He’s sponsoring me 2p a mile – which is amazingly generous, thanks Stu! You don’t have to pledge that much; 1p, 1/2p, 1/10p…it’ll all add up considering I’ll be covering at least 4012 miles this year!
Thanks. It means a lot and is very much appreciated.
